Requirements
Assist in basic food preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients under the guidance of chefs.
Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
Support chefs and cooks by performing various kitchen duties as assigned, ensuring smooth kitchen operations.
Adhere strictly to food safety and sanitation standards to prevent contamination and ensure the quality of food served.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities (Manufacturing Canteen)
1. Food Preparation & Cooking Support
Assist in preparing cooking ingredients (washing, cutting, portioning).
Support the cook during preparation of breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Perform basic cooking tasks (frying, boiling, steaming) under supervision.
2. Inventory & Stock Management
Receive, label, and properly store incoming food supplies.
Monitor and record stock levels, and report low or expired items.
Maintain storage areas (refrigerator, freezer, dry storage) in an organized and clean condition.
3. Kitchen & Equipment Cleaning
Clean and sanitize all kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils after use.
Manage food waste and used cooking oil in accordance with established procedures.
Carry out weekly deep cleaning to maintain hygiene standards.
4. Canteen & Food Service
Pack and deliver meals to workers’ lockers in the factory.
Manage canteen utensils and ensure they are clean and sufficient.
Operate the canteen system (update menu, manage staff meal orders via QR code).
5. VIP & Event Support
Prepare and arrange VIP dining areas for guests and special events.
Handle VIP dining utensils with care and ensure proper storage.
6. Safety & Compliance
Follow food safety and hygiene regulations.
Use PPE and cleaning chemicals properly.
Report any hazards, pest issues, or equipment faults immediately.
7. Teamwork & Other Duties
Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and follow supervisor instructions.
Support events and peak operation periods.
Participate in the company’s ESH (Environment, Safety & Health) initiatives.
Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
