Location: Johor and Penang
Immediate Hiring : Senior Pre-sales ICT Network Engineer

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.

  •  Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a Pre-Sales, Solutions Architect, or similar technical role.

  • Hands-on experience managing RFI/RFP/RFQ processes, preferably for government or large-scale enterprise projects.

Skills & Competencies

  • Proven experience in ICT projects, with involvement in solution design, implementation, or pre-sales activities.

  • Strong knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure, enterprise IT environments, systems integration, and solution architecture.

  • Ability to interpret and analyze client requirements, including identifying underlying business needs beyond stated requests.

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, competitive environment while managing multiple bids and tight deadlines.

  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise or government projects is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Technical Leadership: Lead the full pre-sales lifecycle, from requirements gathering and gap analysis to solution design and final proposal submission.

  • Solution Architecture: Design scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions that address client business needs and technical challenges.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and delivery teams to validate solution feasibility and ensure smooth transition to implementation.

  • Strategic Sales Support: Partner with sales and account teams to provide technical expertise, deliver impactful presentations, and strengthen competitive positioning.

  • Bid & Tender Management: Lead and manage responses to government and enterprise RFI/RFP/RFQs, ensuring full technical compliance and high-quality documentation.

  • Financial & Technical Modelling: Develop accurate cost estimates and pricing models that balance technical requirements with budget considerations.

  • Risk Management: Identify potential technical risks and dependencies early, and implement effective mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

The  Senior Pre-Sales Engineer  plays a key role in the sales lifecycle by translating complex business requirements into scalable and cost-effective technical solutions. Working in a fast-paced environment, the role bridges customer needs with internal capabilities, collaborating closely with sales, engineering, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, competitive proposals. As the primary technical authority, the individual ensures solution accuracy, alignment, and feasibility while adapting to evolving requirements with a strong focus on achieving customer success.
