Candidate must possess at least Degreecation in Supply Chain Management/ Automotive Engineering/Project Management or any equivalent field.

Minimum 10 years of working experience in the related field.

Proven experience managing local and international suppliers, particularly in ASEAN and China-based operations.

Strong background in cost negotiation, supplier development and strategic sourcing.

Analytical, resourceful and result-oriented with the ability to work independently.

Knowledge in component sourcing, cost structure analysis and global procurement practices.

Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency, professionalism and leadership qualities.

Strong knowledge of automotive sourcing standards, import/export procedures and market dynamics.

Must be proactive, detail-oriented and capable of handling multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Familiarity with China-based procurement, logistics coordination and mandarin speaking will be a strong advantage.

Able to travel locally and internationally.

Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously to meet deadline while maintaining attention to detail.

Willing to work extra hours to meet operation target.

Willing to work extra days weekend to complete job task.

Oversee overall procurement operations such as sourcing, purchasing and delivery control.

Lead sourcing activities to identify, evaluate and select suppliers for project-related parts and components.

Negotiate pricing, terms, delivery and contracts with local and overseas suppliers.

Perform detailed cost structure and cost breakdown analysis (e.g. material, labor, overhead, logistics, duties, margin) to support sourcing strategies and negotiations.

Manage and monitor supplier performance, resolve delivery or quality issues and implement corrective actions.

Collect, consolidate, and analyze procurement data including spend, pricing trends, supplier performance, lead times, delivery reliability, and cost variances.

Liaise with R&D, Production and Quality teams to ensure part specifications, timelines and cost targets are achieved.

Conduct supplier visits, audits and evaluations as part of vendor development and qualification.

Any other duties or responsibilities assigned by the Company from time to time.
