Requirements
Assist in the preparation and filing of audit documentation and reports.
Support the accounting team with daily bookkeeping tasks, including data entry, reconciliation, and ledger maintenance.
Gain practical experience in financial statement preparation and analysis under the guidance of senior staff.
Learn and apply accounting principles and auditing standards in a professional setting.
Utilize accounting software, including UBS Accounting Software, for various financial operations.
Develop proficiency in data analysis using SQL for audit and accounting purposes.
Communicate effectively with team members and clients in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia.
Contribute to the overall efficiency and accuracy of the audit and accounting departments.
Participate in client meetings and assist with information gathering as required.
Adhere to company policies and professional ethics in all aspects of work.
Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and execution of audit fieldwork, including gathering financial information, performing tests of controls, and documenting audit procedures under the guidance of senior auditors.
Support the accounting team in day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, such as data entry, bank reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable processing, and general ledger maintenance.
Help in the preparation of financial statements and management reports by compiling data and ensuring accuracy.
Utilize UBS Accounting Software to record financial transactions, generate reports, and assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Assist in the preparation of tax computations and submissions by gathering necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations.
Communicate effectively with clients to gather required information and documentation for audit and accounting purposes, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
Learn and apply accounting principles and auditing standards to assist in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
Contribute to the team by actively participating in meetings, sharing insights, and supporting colleagues as needed.
