Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables, presenting menus and answering initial inquiries about the menu items and daily specials.
Take accurate food and beverage orders from customers, ensuring all special requests and dietary restrictions are clearly communicated to the kitchen staff.
Serve food and drinks efficiently and courteously, checking back with customers to ensure their satisfaction and anticipate any further needs.
Clear tables promptly after customers have finished their meals, resetting them with fresh linens, cutlery, and glassware for the next guests.
Handle customer payments accurately, processing cash, credit card, and other payment methods, and providing correct change and receipts.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, floors, and service stations, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
Assist in setting up and preparing the dining area before service, ensuring all necessary supplies and equipment are readily available.
Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, baristas, and other team members to ensure smooth service flow and a positive dining experience for all guests.
Respond to customer feedback and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary to ensure customer satisfaction.
Learn and retain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, and beverage pairings to provide informed recommendations to customers.
