What We Are Looking For the Operation Assistant Manager:
• 3–5 years of experience in Retail Operations, F&B, or Facility Management. Experience in a supervisory role is essential.
• A natural "eye for detail." You should be someone who notices a dirty corner or a skipped process immediately.
• Ability to handle on-site crises (e.g., a burst pipe or an outlet failure) calmly and effectively.
• Must possess a valid driving license and be willing to travel frequently between various outlet locations in Klang Valley.
• Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to speak Mandarin/Cantonese is a plus for communicating with certain vendors or contractors.
• Unquestionable honesty, as you will be the primary person responsible for auditing the integrity of the business operations.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct regular site visits across Klang valley to ensure all outlets are 100% operational, clean, and safe for customers.
• Monitor the performance of on-site supervisors/staff and ensure the "24/7" service promise is never compromised.
• Coordinate with the technical/IT team to ensure machine downtime is minimized through proactive reporting.
• Perform "Surprise Audits" to ensure SOPs regarding cleanliness, machine maintenance, and chemical usage are being followed.
• Investigate any discrepancies or "leakages" in the operational process and report findings directly to the MD.
• Translate high-level operational strategies into actionable checklists for ground staff.
• Train new and existing team members on updated operational protocols and audit requirements.
• Identify "bottlenecks" in the current outlet workflow and propose practical solutions to improve efficiency.
• Oversee the supply chain for detergent and cleaning supplies for all outlets.
• Ensure that resources are utilized efficiently to reduce waste and operational costs.
• Prepare weekly operational reports and audit summaries.
• Document all incidents (machine failures, customer complaints, or audit failures) and track the resolution process.
