Job Description

Requirements

  • SPM or Diploma in Business, Marketing, or related field.

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in distribution sales environment.

  • At least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.

  • Experience handling cash transactions and stock management is an added advantage.

  • Strong leadership and coaching skills.

  • Good analytical and reporting capability.

  • High level of integrity and accountability (especially in cash handling).

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Possess own transport and willing to travel within assigned territory.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales volume and distribution growth within assigned territory.

  • Ensure monthly sales targets and KPIs are consistently achieved.

  • Monitor daily sales performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.

  • Supervise and manage a team of salesmen to ensure productivity, discipline, and compliance.

  • Conduct regular market visits to monitor outlet coverage, in-store execution, and performance standards.

  • Provide coaching and on-the-job guidance to improve sales capabilities.

  • Maintain strong knowledge of assigned sales routes and customer base.

  • Plan and optimize route coverage to maximize efficiency and business opportunities.

  • Conduct joint calls and control visits to ensure proper execution.

  • Review and evaluate salesman performance daily and monthly against targets.

  • Identify performance gaps and implement improvement plans.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with trade partners and key outlets.

  • Monitor competitor activities and provide timely market intelligence reports.

  • Ensure proper implementation of cycle plans, promotions, and company initiatives.

  • Oversee stock receiving, reconciliation, and allocation processes.

  • Ensure accurate inventory records and timely stock distribution to the field force.
