Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent) preferred
5+ years of experience in finance/accounting (with leadership experience)
Responsibilities
1. Financial Planning & Analysis
Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts
Analyze financial performance and provide insights
Monitor cash flow and financial health
Support strategic planning and business decisions
2. Accounting & Reporting
Oversee preparation of financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
Maintain general ledger and accounting records
Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS/GAAP)
3. Budget Management
Track actual spending vs budget
Identify variances and recommend corrective actions
Control costs and optimize financial efficiency
4. Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and tax laws
Coordinate audits (internal and external)
Implement internal controls to reduce financial risk
5. Team Leadership
Supervise finance and accounting staff
Provide training and performance management
Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
6. Stakeholder Communication
Present financial reports to senior management
Work with department heads on budgeting and financial planning
Liaise with auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities
