Job Description

Requirements

  • Possess a Diploma in a relevant field.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, specifically within the safety solutions industry.

  • Proven track record of successfully selling fall protection equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE).

  • Strong knowledge of 3M and Scott Safety products, including their features, benefits, and applications.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships.

  • Experience in business development, including identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities within the Malaysian market.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.

  • Technical sales acumen with the ability to understand and explain technical specifications of safety equipment.

  • Proficiency in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to manage sales activities and customer interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to promote Fall Protection and PPE products (3M & Scott Safety) to achieve sales targets within the designated territory.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting, networking, and building relationships with potential customers in various industries.

  • Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and training sessions to educate customers on the features, benefits, and proper usage of Fall Protection and PPE products.

  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers on selecting the appropriate Fall Protection and PPE solutions based on their specific needs and regulatory requirements.

  • Manage and maintain strong relationships with existing customers by providing excellent customer service, addressing inquiries, and resolving any issues or concerns promptly.

  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and new product developments in the Fall Protection and PPE market to maintain a competitive edge.

  • Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to management on a regular basis.
