Job Description

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar accounts executive or financial accounting role

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and financial reporting

  • Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications

  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Relevant accounting qualification (minimum Diploma with experience or equivalent)

    About the role

    As an Accounts Executive at GEST HOLDINGS SDN. BHD., you will play a pivotal role in supporting the company's financial operations and reporting. This full-time position is based in Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Kuala Lumpur, and offers the opportunity to contribute directly to the organisation's success.

    What you'll be doing

  • Prepare and process accounts payable and receivable transactions

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ledgers

  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports

  • Provide support for the month-end and year-end closing process

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial data is accurate and timely

  • Comply with all relevant accounting standards, policies, and regulations

  • Support the manager in the yearly audit processes
