Job Description

Requirements

  • Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
  • Minimum 3–7 years experience in construction and/or renovation projects
  • Strong knowledge of cost estimation, tendering, and contract management
  • Experience handling variation orders (VO), progress claims, and final accounts
  • Familiar with construction drawings, measurements, and site processes
  • Good understanding of construction materials, pricing, and market rates
  • Proficient in MS Excel and QS software (e.g. AutoCAD, CostX, or similar)
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to coordinate with consultants, contractors, and project teams
  • Good communication and reporting skills
  • Able to work independently and handle multiple projects
  • Applicants who are based nearby are preferred for convenience

Responsibilities

  • Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for construction and renovation projects
  • Manage contracts, including review, negotiation, and administration
  • Evaluate contractor quotations, progress claims, and variation orders (VO)
  • Monitor and control project costs to ensure compliance with approved budget
  • Conduct site visits to verify progress and work completed
  • Coordinate with project managers, consultants, architects, and contractors
  • Prepare cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and financial updates for management
  • Handle procurement of materials and subcontractor pricing evaluation
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and project standards
  • Ensure projects are completed within budget, timeline, and contractual requirements
