Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in payroll or HR (fresh graduates can be considered).
Experience in managing Malaysian statutory contributions is an added advantage.
Payroll submission cut-off dates are on the 3rd and 10th of each month; if these fall on weekends, employees are required to work. A replacement work-from-home (WFH) day will be granted on the following day.
Must be flexible and available for urgent submissions (SOS cases) when required; this occurs occasionally depending on the monthly payroll cycle.
Work From Home (WFH) arrangements are subject to workload, valid justification, and approval on a case-by-case basis.
Responsibilities
Our client is a leading distributor and marketer of consumer electronics, specializing in audio and video equipment for both retail and wholesale markets. They are known for providing innovative solutions, reliable products, and excellent customer service to support their business partners.
Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
Ensure timely salary payments (weekly, biweekly, or monthly).
Keep accurate payroll data (hours worked, leave, benefits, tax info) & update records for new hires, resignations, or changes.
Calculate and submit taxes, social security, EPF, SOCSO, etc. Ensure compliance with government regulations.
Prepare reports for audits and regulatory bodies.
Maintain and update payroll records (new hires, resignations, salary changes).
Track attendance, leave, and claims.
