Requirement:

* SPM or Certificate in Engineering (Mechanical, Metal Fabrication/Tool & Die/Welding) or equivalent.

* 3-5 years of working welding and mechanical fabrication experience.

* Good knowledge in oxy-cutting/grinding/etc.

* Able to read & write in Bahasa Melayu & English

* Experience in piping works would be an added advantage.

* Non-executive specialization in welding/piping or equivalent certification.

*Willing to work on a contract basis in Klang Valley area.

*Contract-to-permanent opportunity—high performers eligible for permanent positions.

Responsibilities

* Determining specifications for components to be created based on drawings for mechanical systems.

* Perform cutting, shaping, grinding, and welding of steel materials and piping systems.

* To assemble piping and fittings with good knowledge of steelwork

* Assembling fabricated components into a larger machine or system.

* Adhering to other overall on-site regulations.

* Able to use hand tools for steel work.

* To be responsible for the tools, machines, and equipment that are related to the welding work and report to the superior if there is any malfunction

*Ensure all work meets quality standards, safety procedures, and project timelines.

* To ensure necessary precautions are taken and wear appropriate PPE before hot work tasks.
