• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Physics, or related field

• 8–12 years of experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or forging environment

• Experience in build-to-print / client-spec manufacturing

• Exposure to industries such as oil & gas, power generation, chemical, or shipbuilding

• Strong problem-solving skills in manufacturing environment

• Ability to interpret engineering drawings accurately

• Leadership and team management capabilities

• Strong communication skills for client interaction

• Experience in heavy industry or contract manufacturing

• Knowledge of welding processes (WPS/PQR)

• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems

• Lean / Six Sigma experience

Manufacturing & Process Engineering

• Interpret client drawings, specifications, and technical requirements into manufacturing plans

• Develop and optimize processes (forging, heat treatment, machining, finishing)

• Establish routing, work instructions, and process documentation

• Provide technical support to resolve fabrication and process issues

2. Production Support & Execution

• Collaborate with production teams to ensure jobs meet client requirements

• Monitor production progress and resolve bottlenecks

• Ensure material traceability and correct usage

• Support planning and scheduling to meet delivery timelines

3. Quality & Technical Compliance

• Ensure compliance with standards (ASME, ASTM, API)

• Review Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), procedures, and method statements

• Oversee testing (NDT: UT, RT, MT, PT, mechanical & metallurgical tests)

• Ensure proper documentation, certifications (MTC), and final submission dossiers

4. Client & Project Coordination

• Act as technical focal point for clients

• Handle technical queries (TQ) and deviations

• Support project and commercial teams during tender and execution

5. Continuous Improvement

• Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce cost

• Implement lean manufacturing practices

• Analyze production data to reduce rework and improve output

6. Team Leadership

• Lead and manage engineering teams (process, production, QA/QC)

• Train and develop team capabilities

• Set KPIs and ensure alignment with company goals
