Requirements
We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accounts Adminto be based in ourPetaling Jaya office, reporting to the Accounts Department at our Melaka headquarters. The role involves handling day-to-day accounting and administrative matters to support the firm’s operations.
Minimum Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
Preferably at least 2 years of relevant working experience in accounts or administrative roles, with exposure in a legal firm being an added advantage.
Strong basic accounting knowledge.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and UBS accounting software.
Meticulous, organized, and able to handle confidential information responsibly.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Independent, reliable, and able to work under pressure.
Positive attitude with the ability to work well in a team.
Responsibilities
Perform daily cash and collection reconciliation and post accounting entries.
Process supplier invoices, staff claims, and petty cash claims, including reviewing and verifying supporting documents for accuracy and completeness.
Prepare and issue invoices for billing purposes and follow up on outstanding payments.
Liaise with clients on billing matters and resolve related queries.
Maintain proper records to ensure all financial transactions are accurately captured in the accounting system and general ledger.
Assist in bank reconciliations and basic accounting reports.
Liaise with internal departments for coordination of documents and filings.
Assist in general administrative duties as assigned.
Perform ad-hoc duties as required by the finance department.
Able to handle full set of accounts (preferred).
