Job Description
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field
- Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, MICPA) is an added advantage
- 2–4 years of tax experience, preferably in a professional services firm
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian tax laws and LHDN regulations
- Familiar with MyTax and MySST portals
- Able to communicate in Mandarin for client liaison purposes
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work independently under tight deadlines
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review corporate and individual tax computations
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of tax returns
- Review tax payments and estimated tax liabilities
- Maintain proper documentation in compliance with LHDN requirements
- Provide tax advisory support on withholding tax, incentives, capital allowances, and exemptions
- Assist in tax planning and liaise with auditors and LHDN
- Supervise and guide junior staff
- Prepare tax reports and update on new tax regulations
