Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
Minimum 2 Year(s) of working experience in account executive or similar role.
Familiarity with accounting system and tools such as SQL, AutoCount, Excel and so on.
Proficient in EnglishandMandarin (written and spoken) to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients
Good time management and able to meet tight deadline.
Basic understanding of Malaysian taxation, auditing, and company secretarial practices.
Candidates who can start immediatelyorwithin a short notice period will be given priority.
Responsibilities
Perform day-to-day accounting functions includes maintaining cashbook, process sales order and handle a full set of accounts (GL, AP, AR, monthly reporting, statements of accounts) and ensure timely preparation of monthly company accounts include proper maintenance of records, documents and filing to support all accounting entries.
Assist in preparing financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
Prepare and submit tax returns and statutory filings (e.g., SST, income tax).
Communicate with external parties, including bankers, auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and regulatory authorities.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies and procedures.
Perform ad-hoc tasks and support other accounting-related duties as needed.
