Requirements
Possess a Secondary/SPM/'O' Level qualification; fresh graduates are welcome to apply as this is an entry-level position.
Fluent in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking customers and team members, ensuring a smooth and pleasant dining experience.
Demonstrate strong customer service skills, including a friendly demeanor, attentiveness, and the ability to resolve customer inquiries or issues professionally.
Capable of working effectively in a team environment, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive workplace culture.
Exhibit good communication skills for accurate order taking, relaying information to the kitchen, and interacting clearly with guests.
Adhere strictly to food handling and hygiene standards to ensure food safety and maintain a clean work environment.
Willingness to learn and adapt to various restaurant operations, including serving, cleaning, and cashiering duties.
Able to work full-time on-site in Bandar Puteri Puchong, Puchong, Selangor, Malaysia, including weekends and public holidays as per operational needs.
Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly upon arrival and assist them with seating arrangements, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, clarifying any special requests or dietary restrictions, primarily communicating in Mandarin with customers.
Serve food and drinks promptly and courteously, ensuring presentation standards are met and addressing any immediate customer needs.
Assist in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards of the dining area, kitchen, and restrooms, adhering to food safety regulations.
Process customer payments accurately using the POS system and handle cash or card transactions responsibly.
Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service flow and customer satisfaction.
Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally, escalating complex issues to the supervisor when necessary.
Perform basic food preparation tasks such as setting up condiments, preparing drinks, or plating simple dishes as required.
Participate in daily opening and closing procedures, including setting up tables, restocking supplies, and cleaning equipment.
