Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in high volume of Event Sales or hospitality industry
- Flexible thinker who can adapt selling strategies to changing market conditions and continue to reach sales performance objectives
- To develop and implement the events marketing strategy and develop products incorporating attractions and new technologies
- Superior guest service skills, a keen eye for detail, and excellent follow-through
- Must have a professional demeanor with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Prior management of budgets, forecasting, and capital expenditures
- Maintains a flexible schedule to include working on weekends and holidays
- Positive attitudes and mindsets in the workplace, willing to learn and be a team player
- Possess own transportation and willing to travel
- Flexible to work after working hours, weekends and public holidays
Responsibilities
- Managing the sales team to ensure that they are completing their tasks effectively and efficiently
- Coordinating sponsorships, advertising, and promotions to increase event attendance and awareness
- Developing pricing strategies based on market conditions, customer demographics, and competition
- Communicating with clients to determine their needs and objectives in order to create a successful event
