Requirements
- Candidates must possess at least a Professional Degree in Finance, Accountancy, LCCI, ACCA, CIMA, Master’s or equivalent.
- At least 5 years and above hands-on experience in Finance and Accounting.
- Must be familiar with using SQL Accounting Software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility.
- Preferable to have experience in the IT Trading Industry.
- Preferably able to speak in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Applicant must be a Malaysian citizen.
Responsibilities
- Handle full set of accounting
- Reconcile daily merchant transactions and credit card statements.
- Month-end closing activities and prepare financial analysis reports.
- Ensure all tax-related compliance for the Group of Companies, including but not limited to sales and service tax (SST), corporate tax, withholding tax and any other relevant taxes.
- Prepare periodic tax computation and plan initiatives to minimize tax liability.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretaries, and bankers in relation to annual audits.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, collaborating with management to develop realistic financial plans.
- Assist management in setting annual budget and tracking of sales revenue and expenditure budget.
- Estimate and predict future cash inflows and outflows monthly, quarterly, and annually.
- Lead the preparation and review of accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Any other ad-hoc projects to be assigned from time to time.
