• Fluent in English, both speaking and writing
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronic engineering, preferably with a focus on motion systems and with experience in high-tech equipment
• Basic knowledge in the (motion) control competence:
• Frequency domain
• Controller design
• Measurement systems
• Actuator systems
• Understanding of different drivers + motors
• Knowledge in PLC programming, preferably TwinCAT
• Knowledge in data postprocessing, preferably Python/Matlab
• Basic knowledge in general software design for motion control systems
• Basic knowledge of electric design principles of cabling, connectors, safety systems, electronic racks, PCB design
• Basic knowledge of mechanic design principles, accurate positioning, dynamic behavior, material properties, strength and stiffness
• Helicopter view, abstract thinking and ability to think out-of-the box
• An effective communicator
• Willingness to travel overseas and cooperate with the European mother company

Additional requirements for Sr. Mechatronic Engineer:

• At least 5 years of relevant working experience (semicon, precision mechanics, or similar)
• At least 3 years experience in PLC programming and data postprocessing
• Deep understanding and experience in the different design phases ranging from conceptual design up to Proto- and Pilot evaluation
• Experience in multidisciplinary projects, knowing interdependency between electrical, electromechanical and mechanical (sub)systems
