Requirements
- Language: English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin (verbal and written) will be an advantage and required to work with the China Team.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Mechatronics or Manufacturing Engineering
- Have Certificate Competency High Voltage 11kV (BO)
- Must have electrical handling experience in terms of motors, transformers, and compressors
- Solid knowledge of Equipment Maintenance, Maintenance Engineering, Maintenance & Repair, Preventive Maintenance, and Electrical Maintenance skills
- In charge of all new and maintenance work on all electrical systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment in electrical and mechanical disciplines
- Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings and blueprints
- Experience in a semiconductor or electronic manufacturing environment is a plus
- Willing to travel to China for 6 - 9 months of training.
- This is a full-time on-site role for a Maintenance Engineer at the Penang facility.
Responsibilities
- The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with promoting the efficient and cost-effective maintenance of equipment and infrastructure.
- The tasks will include resolving urgent maintenance issues, conducting preventive and corrective maintenance, writing maintenance reports, and building and maintaining relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Ensure that all new installation and maintenance work complies with all safety and legal requirements.
