Create or visualize an idea and produce a design by hand or using computer-aided design (CAD)
Manage design process from idea to final styling and present to the top management
Conduct and research fashion trends as well as general trends relating to fabrics, colors, technique and style
Able to align our designs to meet the demands of our local target customers/market group.
Liaise closely with sales, buying and production teams on an ongoing basis to ensure items suit the customer, market and price points
Work together in creative team
Selecting fabric, colors, accessories that suitable for the design
Prepare cut patterns and sample
Check and ensure the finishing quality and fitting measurements for all new samples are according to the specification before proceeding for mass productions.
Involve as a team in photoshoot styling and dealing with model to try out your design.
Post mortem with team and customer to get feedback from the product
Monitor daily production [ In house and outsource ]
Arrange purchasing sewing materials / accessories for daily use
