Strategise and plan the project implementation based on clear definition and ensure the project is delivered according to the expectation and requirements of both the internal and external stakeholders.

Ensure that projects are delivered according to the prevailing standards, policies and guidelines (e.g. biosecurity) that have been established by regulators and also within the organisation.

Develop business case and project costing for the organisation, while ensuring the quality specifications are met at the most favourable costing, which includes sourcing for products, feasible alternatives, various service / product suppliers, etc.

Managing elements of project delivery such as budgeting, cost control, completion schedule and quality of works, reviewing progress, reporting any anomalies and changes of scope to the project sponsor.

Effectively communicate and bridge the relationship between various stakeholders involved in design team, delivery teams and user team during project work.

Manage a transparent and fair bidding process (e.g. request for proposal, quotations) where required to ensure a competitive bid is completed in the most favourable manner for the organisation.

Manage external vendors to ensure delivery of services, solutions and machines to ensure compliance with the organization’s requirements.

Monitor progress and periodically report and update on project progress to the internal stakeholders to provide overview of project progress, risk and mitigation action which may require their concurrence.

Manage change request from stakeholders and prioritise according the predefined criteria (e.g. dependencies, urgency, etc.). Coordinate with external contractors where required to obtain quote for additional scope of work.

Ensure good governance at the conclusion of the project, which includes project implementation review, documentation, training, handover, technical designs and information that are critical to the organisation.

Constantly keep abreast and propose usage of relevant emerging technologies that could potentially contributed to the success of the business and project managed.

Perform any other task and assignments as directed by the Management from time to time.
