Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop data models to support data warehouse, data lake, and enterprise data hub requirements
• Build, optimise, and maintain data pipelines using ETL/ELT and data fabric tools
• Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and compliance standards
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
• Deliver technical training and knowledge transfer to clients
• Prepare and maintain documentation, including standards and best practices
• Support pre-sales activities including solution design and proposal inputs
• Provide post-implementation support to clients
• Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and deliverables
• Collaborate with internal teams and project managers to align solutions with business needs

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Minimum 3 years and above of experience in data engineering or related roles
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Talend, Databricks, AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, or similar
• Mandatory experience with MSSQL SSIS
• Proficiency in scripting/programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
• Strong experience in databases and data warehousing (SQL, NoSQL, RDBMS) e.g. MS SQL, PostgreSQL, AWS DynamoDB, Azure Cosmos DB
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Snowflake) is an added advantage
• Exposure to big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) is a plus
• Experience with version control tools (e.g. GitHub)
• Exposure to solution architecture design/review
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
