Assistant Cook

supports the head cook or chef in preparing meals, maintaining inventory, and keeping the kitchen clean and compliant with food safety regulations. They ensure all workstations run efficiently so that dishes are served quickly and at high quality.

Food Preparation & Cooking

• Preparing ingredients: Washing, peeling, chopping, and slicing vegetables, meats, and seafood.
• Executing basic recipes: Preparing simple components like sauces, garnishes, side dishes, or salads.
• Assisting the Chef: Following direct instructions to cook, bake, grill, or assemble complex menu items.
• Station setup: Stocking individual cooking stations with necessary tools and ingredients before service begins
