About the role

TERMIBAIT Facility Services is seeking a skilled and dedicated Pest Control Technician to join our dynamic team in Johor Bahru, Johor. This is a full-time position offering an excellent opportunity to work in the pest control and facility services industry. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering professional pest control services to our valued clients, ensuring their properties remain free from pest infestations. You will play a crucial part in maintaining the health, safety and comfort of our clients' environments whilst upholding the highest standards of service excellence.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting thorough pest inspections and surveys of residential, commercial and industrial properties to identify pest infestations and potential risk areas

• Applying pest control treatments using approved chemicals, baits and equipment in accordance with safety regulations and industry best practices

• Installing and maintaining pest control systems, traps and monitoring devices

• Providing clients with detailed reports on pest control treatments, findings and recommendations for preventative measures

• Educating clients on pest prevention strategies and proper sanitation practices to minimise pest recurrence

• Maintaining accurate records of all treatments, client information and service schedules

• Adhering to all health, safety and environmental regulations whilst carrying out pest control operations

• Responding promptly to emergency pest control requests and service calls

• Ensuring all equipment and tools are properly maintained and safely stored

• Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention

What we're looking for

• Relevant qualifications or certification in pest control, entomology or a related field

• Proven experience working as a pest control technician or in a similar pest management role

• Sound knowledge of common pests, their behaviour, lifecycle and control methods

• Thorough understanding of health, safety and environmental regulations applicable to pest control operations

• Proficiency in using pest control equipment, application tools and safety apparatus

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions and protocols precisely

• Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly

• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks, including climbing, bending and carrying equipment

• Valid driving licence and own reliable transportation to travel between client locations

• Reliability, punctuality and a professional approach to work

• Willingness to undergo further training and stay updated with industry developments
