Job Responsibilities :
• Coordinate and support the implementation of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) policies, procedures, and programs to meet company and client requirements.
• Provide administrative support to the EHS department, including preparation and maintenance of EHS documentation and records.
• Assist in preparing site entry documentation, personnel registrations, inductions, permits, and project mobilization requirements.
• Coordinate safety inductions, toolbox meetings, EHS training programs, and awareness activities for employees and subcontractors.
• Conduct workplace safety inspections and assist in hazard identification, risk assessments, and corrective action tracking.
• Maintain and update EHS databases, SharePoint systems, records, permits, licenses, and statutory documentation.
• Collect, compile, and analyze EHS data and prepare safety statistics, reports, and presentations for management and clients.
• Track and coordinate Emergency Response Team (ERT) programs, fire safety equipment inspections, and maintenance schedules.
• Assist in incident, accident, and near-miss investigations, including documentation, root cause analysis, and follow-up of corrective actions.
• Manage all project documents, including drawings, procedures, reports, correspondence, and client submissions.
• Ensure proper document control, revision tracking, filing, distribution, retrieval, and archiving in accordance with company procedures.
• Support audits, compliance activities, continuous improvement initiatives, and any other duties assigned by management from time to time.
• Any other duties and responsibilities may be assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.
Job Requirements :
• Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or any related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in EHS coordination, document control, or a related administrative role; experience in project or construction environments is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Malaysian OSHA requirements, EHS management systems, and document control practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and document management platforms such as SharePoint.
• Strong organizational, communication, analytical, and multitasking skills with the ability to work independently and maintain accurate records.
