JOB TYPE:

12 Months Renewable contract

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for administering, developing, testing, and demonstrating databases.
• Perform various related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing, and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery, and configuration management.
• Install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for the modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.
• Expected to perform independently and become a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
• Required to actively participate and contribute to team discussions and provide solutions to work-related problems
• Develop and implement innovative strategies to optimize database performance and ensure data integrity
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement database solutions that meet business requirements
• Monitor and troubleshoot database issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal downtime
• Conduct regular database backups and implement disaster recovery plans
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in database administration

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 6+ years experience in Python programming and automation scripting.
• Hands-on experience with the Pytest automation framework.
• Experience in Windows Desktop Automation using Pywinauto/UI Automation (UIA).
• Strong experience in enterprise automation framework development and maintenance.
• Experience in test automation framework design, development, and maintenance.
• Strong experience in API testing and backend validation.
• Proficiency in SQL and database validation.
• Hands-on experience with Git version control.
• Experience in PowerShell scripting and Windows environment troubleshooting.
• Experience with Azure DevOps Repositories, Pipelines, and YAML pipeline configuration.
• Hands-on experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with AWS, particularly S3 and Lambda.
• Experience validating Power BI reports and data.
• Experience in mobile application functional and regression testing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
