Job Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions for M&E projects.
• Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ), cost analysis, and quantity take-offs.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare subcontract packages, purchase requisitions, and cost comparisons.
• Handle project cost planning, budgeting, and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and submit progress claims, payment claims, variation orders (VO), and final accounts.
• Evaluate and certify subcontractor and supplier claims.
• Monitor project costs, identify cost variances, and recommend cost-saving measures.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, and project teams on contractual and commercial matters.
• Maintain proper project documentation, cost records, and contract administration.
• Attend project meetings when required.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by the management.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of M&E Quantity Surveying experience.
• Experience working with an M&E subcontractor is required.
• Experience handling New Build and/or A&A projects is required.
• Familiar with Singapore construction practices, including progress claims, variation orders (VO), contract administration, and project costing.
• Able to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
• Good negotiation and cost analysis skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with QS software is an advantage.
• Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.

Pay: $4,000.00 - $6,000.00 per month
