Job Summary

Sunline Technology (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. seeks a Software Developer to design, develop, and implement enterprise financial and banking system solutions, enhancing applications and collaborating with regional stakeholders to deliver scalable, reliable software.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications aligned with business and technical requirements to support financial systems
• Maintain and enhance existing software systems to improve performance, scalability, and reliability
• Participate in system architecture design and lead technical solution discussions to ensure robust system frameworks
• Analyze client requirements and support technical solutioning for financial system projects
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks to maintain system stability
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including business analysts and project managers to deliver project objectives
• Ensure compliance with coding standards, security policies, and relevant regulatory requirements throughout development
• Prepare comprehensive technical documentation to support system implementation and maintenance

Required competencies and certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in software development
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture
• Experience in RESTful API development and integration
• Familiarity with SQL databases such as MySQL and Oracle
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in banking or financial systems
• Exposure to regional or cross-border projects
• Experience in core banking system transformation projects
