Food Safety and Hygiene Quality Control (QC):
Food Handling and cooking activities of the central kitchens to comply with food safety Pre-Requiste Programs (PRPs) and Critical Control Points (CCPs).
Food Sample Retention. To ensure cooked food samples are properly collected, labelled and stored.
Personal Hygiene & Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).
PPE is properly worn by staff and to be replaced when needed during shift work.
All cleaning chemicals are adequately stocked up and replenished in a timely manner.
To assist in the monitoring of pest activities and activation of pest vendor for follow-up action.
Equipment Maintenance and Calibration.
Ensure its regular preventive maintenance and calibration/verification when appropriate.
To follow the equipment technician to ensure proper maintenance service provided.
Record Keeping. All records related to PRPs and CCPs are monitored and filled on a regular basis to meet the requirements of the food safety management system.
Food Safety Training. To support any training program when required.
Investigation Report. To assist in the investigation of any food incidents as well as drafting of the report to identify the root cause and its appropriate corrective actions.
Any other tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Requirements
Diploma or ITE Certificate in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry or any related disciplines.
Preferably with 1 year working experience.
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
Working knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000 or any Food Safety Management System will be advantageous.
Good interpersonal skills with the attributes of a team player and a keen eye for details.
Possess a positive attitude and learning mindset.
Ability to collaborate and work effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
Able to perform basic statistical collation.
Working hours: 5 days per week (including public holidays and weekends); rotating shift, 7am - 3pm, 3pm - 11pm
