Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in the planning, coordination and execution of construction projects to ensure successful project delivery.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and relevant authorities on project-related matters.
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with all project stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Review construction drawings and specifications, identify discrepancies and coordinate with the relevant parties for timely resolution.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and project schedules.
- Supervise and coordinate site activities with subcontractors and site supervisors to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and on schedule.
- Monitor project costs, contract variations and claims, ensuring accurate documentation and timely submission.
- Conduct regular project cost reviews and assist in implementing cost control measures.
- Plan and monitor project schedules to achieve key milestones and timely project completion.
- Inspect incoming materials delivered to site to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality requirements.
- Prepare project documentation, progress reports, and other project records as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering from a university recognised by the Professional Engineers Board (PE Board), Singapore.
- Possess minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Relevant experience in infrastructure projects, particularly roads and railway projects, will be an advantage.
- Possess the technical knowledge, leadership and coordination skills required to supervise and manage construction projects effectively.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project coordination, quality, safety and contract administration.
