Job Brief

We are looking for an experienced Purchasing Executive to join our procurement efforts in the hardware industry. You will collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to create cost-effective purchasing plans, ensure timely material acquisition, and maintain accurate records, using your communication, negotiation, and leadership skills to drive success.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with internal departments to determine purchasing needs.
• Verify stock levels upon receiving purchase requisitions.
• Process purchase orders and follow up with suppliers on order status.
• Ensure that procured products meet proper QA/QC standards.
• Issue Goods Received Notes (GRN) upon receipt of materials.
• Maintain and update records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any supply issues.
• Assist in sourcing new suppliers and evaluating their performance.
• Support cost reduction initiatives and procurement process improvements.
• Manage ad hoc tasks as assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

• Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain or a related field.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Familiar with inventory management software.
• Proficient in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia to effectively communicate with our diverse client base and stakeholders.
