Project Manager – Digital Transformation (Telecom)

At Ascendion, an AI-first global consulting firm, we're hiring a Project Manager to lead enterprise application transformation and modernization initiatives for a leading telecommunications client.

What You'll Do

• Lead end-to-end application transformation and modernization projects.
• Plan, execute, monitor, and deliver projects within scope, timeline, and budget.
• Partner with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
• Drive legacy application migrations, platform upgrades, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Develop project plans, manage risks, dependencies, and governance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate stakeholder communication and provide regular project status updates.
• Apply Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies based on project requirements.
• Ensure projects align with business objectives while maintaining high delivery quality.

What We're Looking For

• 4–5+ years of IT Project Management experience.
• Proven experience delivering digital transformation, application transformation, or modernization projects.
• Prior experience working within the telecommunications industry is required.
• Strong stakeholder, vendor, and cross-functional team management skills.
• Experience managing enterprise-scale IT projects from initiation through deployment.
• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or equivalent certification is an advantage.
