About The Company

Our client is a prominent, highly established industrial property developer currently spearheading a landmark, large-scale industrial land and infrastructure project in Malaysia. As they continue to expand their footprint and drive high-value developments, they are seeking a meticulous and driven Contract Executive to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in managing commercial, procurement, and contractual functions to ensure seamless project execution.

About The Job

• Procurement & Tendering: Assist in the end-to-end procurement and appointment of consultants, contractors, and project-related service providers (including tendering, rigorous evaluation, awarding recommendations, and contract preparation).
• Contract Administration: Review and evaluate consultant fee submissions, additional fee claims, contractor claims, variation orders (VOs), and other critical contractual matters.
• Cost Control & Budgeting: Closely monitor project costs, consultant fees, contract commitments, and overall budget performance to minimize financial risks.
• Financial Settlement: Review progress payment recommendations and assist in the smooth settlement of consultant final fees and contractor final accounts.
• Reporting & Compliance: Prepare accurate commercial reports, formal approval papers, and provide ad-hoc support on contractual and cost-related matters while ensuring strict compliance with the company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  
  

skills and requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
• Professional Experience: 2-3 years of working experience in contract administration, cost management, or quantity surveying, preferably within the property development or main contractor sector.
• Sector Exposure: Prior experience handling industrial property, infrastructure, or large-scale township projects is highly advantageous.
