We're looking for a mid-level Software Engineer to own full-stack development across our product suite and help drive our AI initiatives into production. You'll take features from design to deployment — building both frontend and backend, integrating payment and subscription systems, and shipping LLM-powered features, AI agents, and automation. This is a hands-on role with real ownership: you'll make technical decisions, review others' code, and mentor more junior engineers as the team grows.

Responsibilities

• Own full-stack features end to end across our web platforms — customer portals, admin tools, and public-facing sites.
• Design, build, and maintain REST APIs, and integrate third-party services (payments, email, messaging, SSO).
• AI/LLM engineering: integrate large language models, build AI agents and workflow automation, and develop tooling such as MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers that expose our services to AI clients.
• Build and improve payment and billing features: subscriptions, invoicing, and Stripe integrations within our payment platform.
• Uphold code quality through reviews, testing, and sensible architecture, and ship reliably through our Docker + CI pipeline.
• Contribute to technical direction and help mentor junior team members.

Our Tech Stack

• Backend: Python (FastAPI, Django / Django REST Framework), Celery, PostgreSQL, MySQL. Some Java and PHP services.
• Frontend: Next.js, React, TypeScript, with UI libraries such as Mantine and Tailwind CSS; Redux Toolkit and TanStack Query for state and data.
• AI: LLM integrations, AI agents and automation workflows, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) tooling.
• Infrastructure: Docker & docker-compose, GitLab CI, RESTful APIs, Stripe.

Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience.
• 3–6 years of professional software development experience, with a track record of shipping production web applications.
• Proven, hands-on proficiency working with AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or similar) as part of your daily workflow — you know how to prompt them well, when to trust their output, and how to review and test it critically. This is a core requirement for the role, not a bonus.
• Strong proficiency in a modern backend language — ideally Python (FastAPI and/or Django REST Framework) — and solid experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Hands-on frontend experience with React and TypeScript, ideally with Next.js.
• Solid working knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL and/or MySQL) and data modeling.
• Comfortable with Git, Docker, and CI/CD workflows in a team setting.
• Able to work independently, own features from design through deployment, and make sound technical trade-offs.
• Clear communicator who works well in a small, collaborative team.

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, AI agents, or MCP tooling.
• Payment/billing integration experience (Stripe or similar), and familiarity with subscription/invoicing systems.
• Experience with Celery or other task queues, and asynchronous/background processing.
• Exposure to Java or PHP for maintaining or integrating with existing services.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers or leading small features/projects.
