Job Summary

Responsible for carrying out advanced vehicle diagnostics, inspection, maintenance, and repair works in accordance with Proton technical standards and company procedures. Acts as a senior technical support to the workshop team by diagnosing complex vehicle problems, ensuring quality workmanship, guiding junior technicians, and completing repair jobs efficiently to achieve customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle inspection, servicing, diagnostics, and repair.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults using diagnostic tools.
• Carry out repair and replacement of vehicle components.
• Ensure all repair work meets Proton quality and safety standards.
• Conduct final inspections and road tests when required.
• Provide technical guidance to junior technicians.
• Maintain accurate service records and job completion reports.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of workshop tools and equipment.
• Keep the work area clean, safe, and organized.
• Support the workshop team in achieving productivity and customer satisfaction targets.

Requirements

• Certificate/Diploma in Automotive Technology or related field.
• Minimum 4-6 years of experience as an automotive technician.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Valid driving licence.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,200.00 per month
