Job Summary
Responsible for carrying out advanced vehicle diagnostics, inspection, maintenance, and repair works in accordance with Proton technical standards and company procedures. Acts as a senior technical support to the workshop team by diagnosing complex vehicle problems, ensuring quality workmanship, guiding junior technicians, and completing repair jobs efficiently to achieve customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle inspection, servicing, diagnostics, and repair.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults using diagnostic tools.
- Carry out repair and replacement of vehicle components.
- Ensure all repair work meets Proton quality and safety standards.
- Conduct final inspections and road tests when required.
- Provide technical guidance to junior technicians.
- Maintain accurate service records and job completion reports.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of workshop tools and equipment.
- Keep the work area clean, safe, and organized.
- Support the workshop team in achieving productivity and customer satisfaction targets.
Requirements
- Certificate/Diploma in Automotive Technology or related field.
- Minimum 4-6 years of experience as an automotive technician.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Able to work independently and in a team.
- Valid driving licence.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,200.00 per month
