Job Summary
Support daily IT infrastructure operations and assist in monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining servers, network devices, and IT systems across regional subsidiaries. Collaborate with teams and vendors to ensure stable operations and participate in infrastructure projects and upgrades.
Responsibilities
- Support daily IT infrastructure operations for regional subsidiaries to ensure system stability and performance
- Monitor AIX, Windows, and Linux servers, network devices, and IT infrastructure to identify and assist in resolving operational issues
- Troubleshoot server, network, backup, virtualization, and end-user infrastructure problems under senior engineer guidance
- Perform routine system health checks, OS patching, monitoring, and maintenance activities to maintain infrastructure reliability
- Support network components including switches, routers, firewalls, wireless networks, VPN, and basic connectivity troubleshooting
- Coordinate with local IT teams, vendors, and regional users during operational tasks and incident resolution to minimize downtime
- Participate in infrastructure deployment, migration, upgrades, disaster recovery/business continuity testing, and regional IT projects
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, operational reports, troubleshooting records, and infrastructure inventories
- Maintain accurate IT asset records and infrastructure documentation for audit and operational purposes
- Assist in maintaining and enhancing internal web portals using HTML, JavaScript, and Apache Tomcat to improve user experience
- Travel to overseas subsidiaries as needed to support IT operations and project activities
- Continuously develop technical knowledge in enterprise infrastructure, networking, virtualization, cloud technologies, and IT operations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related discipline from a recognised university
- Good understanding of fundamental IT concepts including operating systems, computer hardware, networking, and basic server infrastructure
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word for documentation and reporting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills applied to IT infrastructure issues
- Effective documentation and communication skills to support team collaboration and reporting
- Self-motivated and responsible with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Willingness to travel to overseas subsidiaries when required
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Basic knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, virtualization, cloud technologies, or cybersecurity to support infrastructure tasks
- Internship experience, university projects, or relevant certifications such as CCNA, AZ-900, AWS Cloud Practitioner, or Linux Essentials
