Job Summary:

The Warehouse Assistant performs receiving, shipping and/or warehouse logistics functions on a daily basis. He issues supplies & production materials to the mfg. teams as requested. He also assists with the periodic cycle-count & stock-take acitivities.

Essential Job Functions (Competencies):

• To perform receiving and/or shipping functions in-house or at Offsite facilities.
• To perform finished goods outgoing shipping arrangement.
• To assist logistic leader for LMW document preparation and submission.
• To perform material and supplies issuance functions to production area.
• To ensure all materials are properly segregated, stored and are fully accountable for.
• To perform packing operations for outgoing shipments.
• To liaise with local transporter on shipment details and bookings.
• To assist logistic leader and EHS engineer on industrial waste management functions.
• To perform periodic physical stock-take exercise & cycle counts.
• To perform 5S housekeeping functions in warehouse & work areas.
• Any other duties & responsibilities which the Manufacturing Manager / Section leader may assign from time to time.

Education & Experience:

• Completed secondary education, with SPM certificate or higher and is able
• to write simple BM and English.
• Minimum of 1 year working experience in similar capacity
• Able to perform basic arithmetic function of addition and subtraction.
• Knowledge of import/export & customs procedures and regulation will be an advantage.
• Basic computer literacy and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
