BettingJobs is hiring a Senior Front-End Developer for a hybrid position in Kuala Lumpur. This role offers the chance to take technical ownership, mentor team members, and drive the delivery of robust, scalable web applications using Angular and TypeScript in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and build maintainable, responsive front-end solutions using Angular (v17+) and TypeScript
• Design and manage reusable component libraries and contribute to the front-end design system
• Integrate with RESTful APIs and handle real-time data streams
• Drive code quality through clean, testable code and code reviews
• Optimise performance for Core Web Vitals, lazy loading, and fast load times
• Lead the adoption of AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and delivery
• Mentor junior developers and guide front-end technical strategy
• Collaborate with UX/UI, back-end, QA, and product teams in an Agile environment

Essential Requirements:

• 5+ years' front-end development experience, including 2+ years in a senior role
• Expert in Angular (v17+) and TypeScript; React or Vue.js experience a plus
• Strong knowledge of performance optimisation, browser rendering, and Core Web Vitals
• Proficient in modern Angular state management, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and accessibility (WCAG)
• Experienced with Git, CI/CD, and modern front-end build tooling
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, Claude)
• Professional proficiency in English

Preferred:

• Professional proficiency in Mandarin
• Automated testing (Playwright, Jest) experience
• Background in fintech or high-traffic consumer products
• Familiarity with micro-frontend architecture, SSR/SSG frameworks (Next.js, Nuxt.js)
