In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, visitors, and assets. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong observational skills, professionalism, and the ability to respond effectively to security incidents while delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of assigned premises to prevent and detect unauthorized activities.
• Monitor CCTV systems, alarms, and access control systems.
• Control access to facilities by verifying visitors, contractors, and employees.
• Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, and security breaches.
• Investigate and report incidents, accidents, and suspicious activities with accurate documentation.
• Enforce site policies, safety regulations, and security procedures.
• Provide a visible security presence while maintaining a courteous and professional approach.
• Liaise with emergency services, site management, and other stakeholders when required.
• Identify potential security risks and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Support emergency evacuation procedures and business continuity plans.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Security Officer License.
• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, customer service, or a related field is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong observation, decision-making, and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
• Basic computer skills and experience using security reporting systems.
• Physically fit and capable of standing, walking, and patrolling for extended periods.
• Availability to work rotating shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Current First Aid/CPR certification is advantageous.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, customer service, or a related field is desirable.
• Basic computer skills and experience using security reporting systems.
• Current First Aid/CPR certification is advantageous.
