Job Title: Quality Controller (QC) – Furniture Manufacturing
Key Responsibilities
- Incoming Quality Control (IQC): Inspect raw materials (timber, panels, hardware, metal, glass) for moisture levels and material specifications.
- In-Process Quality Control (IPQC): Inspect machining, sanding, assembly, and finishing/coating processes against technical drawings to correct defects early.
- Final Quality Control (FQC): Conduct visual, functional, and structural checks on finished goods, including load and paint adhesion testing.
- Packaging Inspection: Verify hardware counts, labeling, carton protection, and run carton drop tests before shipment.
- Reporting: Log non-conforming items for rework or scrap, track defect trends, and assist with QC SOPs.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of QC experience in furniture, woodworking.
- Ability to read assembly drawings/blueprints and use basic measuring tools (calipers, moisture meters).
- Detail-oriented with strong communication skills and firm judgment on quality standards.
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
