Competencies and Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or related discipline
• Project Management Professional (PMP).
• More than 12 years of experience in Banking Technology, with strong focus on Cards & Payments platforms in large financial institutions.
• Proven experience in leading end-to-end card system delivery and operations, including card issuing, acquiring, payment switching, and ATM/SST platforms.
• Strong track record in managing production card environments, ensuring high availability, stability, performance, and reliability of mission-critical systems.
• Experience in leading large-scale transformation, migration, and modernization programmes for Cards & Payments platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the end-to-end delivery, availability, performance, and support of mission-critical Cards & Payments applications.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, payment scheme standards, and internal governance policies.
• Drive continuous improvement in system performance, operational resilience, and service delivery.
• Manage technology risks, production incidents, and change initiatives to ensure stable and secure operations.
• Oversee project delivery and vendor performance
• Provide subject matter expertise and strategic guidance on Cards & Payments technology
• Provide strategic technology leadership to support the Bank's digital transformation agenda while ensuring regulatory compliance and operational excellence.
• Oversee the end-to-end delivery of card issuing, acquiring, payment switching, ATM/SST, and payment network integration solutions.

Technical / Functional Skills:

• End-to-end IT project lifecycle management, including pipeline, demand, resource, delivery, and financial management.
• Strong understanding of multiple SDLC methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
• Proficient in project management tools for planning, tracking, reporting, and governance of delivery activities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to drive effective and timely resolution of issues.
• Experience in managing large-scale technology delivery within complex, high-availability environments.
