Job Title: Junior Inside Sales Support Executive

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and proactive Junior Inside Sales Support Executive to join our growing steel trading team in Johor Bahru. This position is ideal for a university graduate with approximately 2 years of working experience who is eager to build a long-term career in sales and customer support.

Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided to help you develop product knowledge and industry expertise in steel products and related applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the sales team in handling customer enquiries and quotations.
• Prepare and follow up on quotations, sales orders, delivery schedules, and related documentation.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, logistics providers, and internal departments to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales data.
• Follow up with customers on enquiries, orders, deliveries, and payments when required.
• Provide prompt and professional customer service via phone, email, and other communication channels.
• Assist with inventory, pricing updates, and administrative support as needed.
• Handle multiple tasks efficiently while meeting deadlines.
• Take initiative in identifying and resolving issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Support the team in achieving sales and operational objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related disciplines.
• Approximately 2-3 years of working experience in sales support, customer service, administration, or related functions.
• Fresh graduates with strong communication skills may also be considered.
• Fluent level of written and spoken English.
• Willingness and ability to communicate with international clients, suppliers and service providers at different levels of their organizations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• AI literacy
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Confident in interacting with people at all levels, both internally and externally.
• Well-organized with good attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong sense of responsibility.
