As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor (Electrical) to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions for electrical and infrastructure projects.
- Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities.
- Perform quantity take-offs and prepare accurate cost analyses.
- Source and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Prepare and administer subcontract agreements, purchase orders, and contract documentation.
- Monitor project costs and ensure expenditure remains within the approved budget.
- Prepare progress claims, payment certifications, variation orders, and final accounts.
- Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor claims and variations.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, procurement teams, and clients to ensure effective cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate records of project costs, contracts, and commercial documentation.
- Identify commercial risks and recommend cost-saving opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering, Building, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2–5 years of relevant quantity surveying experience in electrical, M&E, utility, or infrastructure projects.
- Experience in power cable installation, electrical distribution, substations, or utility works will be an advantage.
- Good understanding of contract administration and construction cost management.
- Familiarity with standard forms of construction contracts.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and commercial management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Experience with quantity surveying or estimating software is an advantage.
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary project teams.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tenders and projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of Singapore construction practices and electrical infrastructure projects.
