Role: Solution Architect (Banking)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect with 20 years of expertise in delivering enterprise-scale solutions across Private Banking, Wealth Management, and Supply Chain Finance. The ideal candidate will lead modernization initiatives, drive cloud adoption, and design scalable microservices-based architectures aligned with business and regulatory requirements. This role demands strong technical leadership, stakeholder collaboration, and proven ability to transform legacy systems into modern, high-performing platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Architecture & Solution Design

  • Lead architecture design for private banking and financial supply chain systems.

  • Translate functional requirements into scalable technical solutions aligned with business goals.

  • Drive modernization of legacy systems into microservices and cloud-native platforms.

• Technical Leadership & Governance

  • Conduct design/code reviews and enforce technical standards across teams.

  • Mentor developers and provide architectural guidance to cross-functional teams.

  • Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with banking policies and regulatory frameworks.

• Performance & Optimization

  • Implement performance optimization strategies during design and development phases.

  • Drive initiatives for database masking, application security, and system resilience.

  • Ensure high availability and stability of mission-critical banking applications.

• Stakeholder & Vendor Collaboration

  • Partner with business leaders, vendors, and engineering teams to align architecture with organizational objectives.

  • Provide technical delivery management for large-scale banking and supply chain projects.

Required Skills & Expertise

• Architecture & Core Competencies: Microservices, Cloud Architecture, System Modernization, DevOps, API Management, Performance Optimization, Security Compliance.

• Technology Stack: Java (JDK 1.4–17), Spring Boot, Hibernate, Struts, React.js, AngularJS, JSF, Richfaces.

• Integration & Platforms: REST/SOAP APIs, TAP, IBM WTX, Flowable BPM, Jasper Reports.

• Databases & Messaging: Oracle, MySQL, ActiveMQ, IBM MQ, TIBCO MQ.

• DevOps & Cloud: Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes (basic), AWS, OpenShift.

• Tools & Version Control: Git, SVN, Serena Dimensions, IntelliJ, Eclipse.
