The Role:

We are looking for a highly experienced and hands-on Senior Software QA Engineer to conduct comprehensive software and application testing, develop effective test strategies, and ensure products meet defined quality and release criteria.

You will be directly involved in requirement analysis, test planning, test-case design, manual testing, troubleshooting, result analysis, customer-issue investigation, junior coaching, cross-module test support, and quality-process improvement.

In parallel with regular testing responsibilities, you will take a hands-on role in developing and promoting QA Agentic AI solutions, sharing practical knowledge, and helping the QA team adopt AI-assisted quality-engineering practices.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review business and software requirements, identify quality gaps, and provide input to improve clarity, completeness, and testability.
• Design and maintain test strategies, test plans, test cases, test data, testing processes, and clear pass/fail criteria.
• Perform hands-on manual testing and validate software functionality across supported platforms.
• Conduct issue reproduction and problem analysis throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Develop effective testing approaches to identify defects, edge cases, abnormal behaviours, and potential product risks.
• Ensure software products meet the defined functional, reliability, quality, and release criteria.
• Establish structured quality reporting and automated monitoring mechanisms.
• Ensure defects are clearly documented, properly tracked, verified, and resolved in a timely manner.
• Recommend and implement practical improvements to testing, defect investigation, bug fixing, and quality processes.
• Provide coaching and technical guidance to junior QA engineers and support cross-module testing activities.
• Lead customer-reported issue investigations, including reproduction, evidence collection, problem isolation, fix verification, and closure.
• Take a hands-on role in designing, building, validating, and improving QA Agentic AI solutions.

Job Requirement:

• Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, of Professional Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology, Engineering (Computer /Telecommunication) or equivalent.
• Minimum 7–12 years of relevant experience in software quality assurance, software testing, quality engineering, or a related role.
• Strong hands-on experience testing iOS and Android applications; experience testing macOS and Windows applications is also expected.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with development and cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and structured troubleshooting skills.
• Good time-management, prioritisation, and organisational skills.
• Willingness to provide support when required for critical releases or business needs.
• Experience in voice-call, video-call, and audio-routing testing is an advantage.
• Experience in API testing and using Postman is an advantage.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted software testing tools or experience building Agentic AI is anadditional advantage.
