Job Description

Responsibilities

DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES

Your duties and responsibilities include the following:

A. Project Coordination & Execution

1.      Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing project activities to ensure timely completion within budget, quality, and safety requirements.

2.      Coordinate fabrication, delivery, and installation schedules to ensure smooth project execution.

3.      Monitor project progress and work schedules, highlighting delays or issues and recommending corrective actions.

4.      Coordinate with production, site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and installers to ensure project milestones are achieved.

5.      Ensure all installation works are carried out according to approved construction drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

6.      Support the management of multiple projects concurrently, where required.

B. Site Supervision

7.      Supervise daily site operations, installation activities, subcontractors, and workers to ensure quality workmanship and timely completion.

8.      Monitor labour productivity, manpower allocation, and site resources to optimise operational efficiency.

9.      Conduct regular site inspections to ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and workplace safety requirements.

10.   Ensure proper housekeeping and adherence to Workplace Safety and Health(WSH) regulations at all times.

11.   Monitor work schedules and installation progress to minimise delays and ensure project deadlines are met.

C. Project Coordination & Communication

12.   Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal departments on project-related matters.

13.   Attend site meetings, coordination meetings, and project discussions as required.

14.   Coordinate and resolve site issues promptly to minimise disruptions to project progress.

15.   Ensure all project documentation, site records, variation orders, and work progress reports are maintained accurately.

D. Quality & Compliance

16.   Ensure installation works comply with approved construction drawings, technical specifications, contractual requirements, and company standards.

17.   Inspect completed works to ensure workmanship meets project quality expectations.

18.   Verify construction drawings, shop drawings, and technical details before site execution.

19.   Report non-conformance, defects, or quality issues and follow up on corrective actions.

E. Reporting & Administration

20.   Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project progress reports for the Project Manager.

21.   Monitor project progress, manpower utilisation, and site productivity.

22.   Assist in material coordination, inventory control, and minimise material wastage.

23.   Support project performance reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

F. General Responsibilities

24.   Perform any other duties or projects assigned by the Management.

QUALIFICATIONS &REQUIREMENTS

·        Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building, Project Management, or a related discipline.

·        Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in the construction, interior fit-out, stone, tile, or related industry.

·        Experience in supervising site operations, subcontractors, installation works, and project work schedules.

·        Experience or knowledge of stone and tile wall cladding, floor installation, and stone/tile finishes is preferred.

·        Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, shop drawings, and specifications related to stone and tile works.

·        Good understanding of construction methodologies, site operations, and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements.

·        Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

·        Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

·        Willing to travel for project-related assignments when required.
