Job Summary
Lead and coordinate mechanical team operations to ensure timely completion of customer orders while maintaining quality standards and safety compliance in a workshop environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of raw materials to verify stock sufficiency and availability
- Perform routine maintenance and checks on workshop tools and equipment to ensure proper working condition
- Respond promptly to equipment defects to maintain uninterrupted facility functionality
- Implement daily housekeeping practices to maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Lead the mechanical team to complete customer orders within project timelines while meeting quality standards
- Develop and maintain detailed work schedules, manpower allocation, and resource plans to optimize operational efficiency
- Coordinate with external vendors to secure timely delivery of supplies
- Manage and liaise with external contractors to ensure timely and quality service delivery
- Enforce workplace safety compliance to uphold a safe working environment
- Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by the Managing Director
Required competencies and certifications
- NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of relevant mechanical engineering experiences
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Six-day work availability
- Willing to work under noisy and warm environment
